PROJECT: out of bounds
Out of Bounds II...

He shared the field with us,
on our team,
playing the game hard,
leading the way,
with a wisdom filled head,
and passion spilling from his heart,
he led us to victory many a time...

Now he is retired from our game,
and we miss him immensely,
our hearts are broken in his absence,
but he taught us all we need,
and now we all must take a slice of his strength
and be him,
and let him continue through us,
for he is not gone...

He is watching us now,
coaching us on,
now he is routing for us,
now he is our greatest fan,
with a proud fist in the air,
and tear of happiness falling down his cheek,
on the sidelines,
resting peacefully,
and finally truly free...

He is out of bounds....
